It’s a busy time!

Well, after a slow and relaxing summer, things have really picked up for me this autumn! I am continuing in my role at Detention Forum, but I am also supporting the Refugee Council in the UK for a few months as their interim head of advocacy. I am also supporting Eurochild with their European campaign on Early Childhood Development, and we are planning the first face to face advocacy workshop in Brussels next month.

I have also been working with Shpresa, the dynamic Albanian Refugee Community Organisation in the UK, on a new leadership development programme for migrant community leaders. This must rank as one of the most exciting projects that I have been involved with over the years. Watch this space for more information.

So as a result, my blog might be a bit quiet over the next few months – looking to resume normal service next year!
