It’s been a while!

It has been a while since I last did a blog post on this site mainly because things have been somewhat busy for me!

My work at the Detention Forum, a network of over 50 independent organisations working together to challenge the use of immigration detention in the UK, continues.

I’ve also started doing some work for Freedom from Torture supporting them as they develop their very exciting big organising project.

I have also continued to offer advice and support to the Refugee Council and the London RCO forum as it seeks to develop its advocacy priorities, and I am looking to continue my support for the Voices Network at the British Red Cross.

And my work for Shpresa programme on their migrant leadership programme has continued; we have almost come to the conclusion of our second cohort and we are planning for the third cohort of aspiring migrant leaders.

Last, but by no means least, is City of Sanctuary where I have offered pro-bono support both to their Speak up for Sanctuary and Sanctuary in Politics initiatives.
