Practical Politics

I have long admired Titus Alexander and his persistent quest to promote the need for effective teaching about politics in this country. How are people meant to learn about how politics works? I have often been surprised when I have run introductory campaigning courses to realise how little some people know about the realities of our democracy and of how politics work. How can you seek to campaign if you don’t understand the political system?

So Titus’ new book is very welcome – Practical Politics: Lessons in Power and Democracy. I have read the free to download first chapter, and I am looking forward to reading the whole book when it’s published next month
