Future story video

Late last year I had the good fortune to travel out to Lake Ohrid in North Macedonia to support a regional advocacy workshop run by the Swiss INGO, Helvetas.

This regional network had been running for several years and was well established, and Helvetas wanted me to introduce the concept of a future story to them to help them to drive forward with their advocacy ambitions across the region.

During the workshop, we did a series of videos, where I sought to explain a concept and then people followed up with practical examples from across the Balkans. In this first video, we looked at this idea of a future story. What do you think – does it help you understand the importance of a future story in advocacy campaigns?
